Finally a CV date.

Just visited my EP after waiting 9 months for a DVT and PE clot to clear. Although the DVT clot hasn't totally dissolved he is confident to go ahead with a CV in three weeks. He is also optimistic about it being successful as there was a known cause to trigger the AF. Fingers crossed.

Good news Gazza. I'm booked in for mine on Tuesday. What is your trigger? I have no idea what caused mine except possibly excessive alcohol but I had no idea I was in AF.

I'm in Persistent AF, my initial trigger was a PE clot.
