Does anyone have any experience of taking this NOAC or any informational links about it?

That's the new one isn't it? Only approved late summer last year.

I'd be surprised if anyone but EPs and the really clued up GPs (Yes that's you Matt) had even heard of it. My GP had never heard of Apixiban, or Dabigatran when I switched to a NOAC he thought Rivoraxaban was the only one availble.

I'd be interested in any stories about it. Not seen any comparatives yet at all

Be well

Ian

Thanks Ian - it was my GP who mentioned it, no I hadn't heard of it.

I suffer from gastric problems from the meds I take for my Mg so the idea of going back on Dabigatran was not appealing so she suggested Edoxaban.

Thanks, are you taking it and if so how do you find it?

I was on dabigatran and went back onto warfarin for an ablation. The TOE found a clot and my EP has kept me on warfarin for another 18 mths so far. He says if I want to go back on a NOAC then he would only recommend Edoxaban.

Hi - I am prescribed Edaxoban... Have been taking it since late summer last year. So far, I seem to be OK.  Warfarin could not be stabilised which was why I transferred.  Time will tell.....
