My bisoprolol is downstairs so don't have access to leaflet. Have you read it to see if any guidance. Also search on NHS or patient.co.uk website. You could always check with pharmacist in the morning.

I am no medic but would suggest taking half this morning, half in the evening, then normal from tomorrow.

After the event, I know...but I've put permanent alarms on my mobile phone so that I don't forget to take my meds.  I forget them frequently but the alarm reminds me...or my husband who prompts me!  Of course, you have to have a mobile phone with an alarm...which most of them have...and you have to keep it charged, of course.

I would probably leave it now and take it as usual or take it now and

take it later tomorrow.

I would definitely speak to my Pharmacist, they are so knowledgeable.

Simple solution - take your normal dose about 3 hours later than normal, then back to normal next day. I`m on bisoprolol and have often got out of sequence and I`m still here. It`s not set in stone - I`m sure you`ll survive!

I take mine at all different times of the morning sometime as late as lunch time if I've forgot . Doesn't seem to have any effect on me.

As I no longer take bisoprolol  (now replaced with Sotalol) I can't check,  but the standard advice from patient leaflets is normally that, if you forget a dose, take it when you remember, but not at the same time as the next dose.

I am on 5mg bisoprolol and sometimes take an extra 5mg in the evening if my heart is very very fast. The doc has advised me to do this. We are all individual but i know for me i have been told it is safe to take 10mg and i still take my normal 5mg dose at usual time next day.
