i have been on rivaroxban for two months have had echocardiogram, booked holiday a while ago is there any reason why my gp has said i should not fly before seeing cardiooligist please help also have type 1 diabetes

You need to ask your GP outright why he thinks you should not fly, none of us are medcially qualified, nor do we know your history.

I am not aware of any reason why somebody with lone AF should not fly but as Beancounter stated we are not qualified nor do we have your medical history. I have flown many time whilst in AF with no problems.
What I would mention is that as far as travel insurance is concerned, you may have problems getting cover if you are still under investigation which may possibly be why your GP has mentioned this.
