Has anyone else seen this - or take its advice to have orange juice to prevent AFIB

Interesting and no I've never heard of orange juice helping with AF. I can say that I have regularly eaten an orange daily for years, but still have fairly severe AF. However, will always try anything and may buy some orange juice now as I'm into about my sixth week of constant tachycardia.

Think I will get some Vit C tabs, don't eat as much fruit/veg due to gut problems so won't do any harm but hopefully some good!

The article seems to suggest large doses of Vitamin C. If it were juice in large quantities that would be a lot of juice and a lot of sugar. I stopped drinking orange juice last year and I get my vitamin C from plums and nectarines, and with plenty of fibre.

My heart meds control my afib and giving up juice had not increased my episodes.

I also gave up juice for the same reasons - but was interested to see the emphasis on Vitamin C

Thanks. Provided the EP didn't want to provoke AF during the ablation I would take some.

As with all supplements and indeed food its the quality not the generic type that matters. I use Altrient C for vitamin C 1000mg sachets and I take it once a week usually. For other supplements I rely on a trusted Naturopath to suggest the best and for food I buy not just organic (can come from tired soils in Eastern Europe & elsewhere) but from the best farms in the South of England plus my own organic smallholding.

Does it make a difference, I like to think so and was encouraged when I had a test last year and my Naturopath couldn't believe there were no deficiencies at all.

How interesting.I take Vit. C 500mg tablet with Ferrous sulplhate on Docs. advice. The vit. aids the iron absorption said my GP.

yes , would think taking VitC better than orange juice , but it is interesting.
