Wow. Feel like I've been hit by a bus. Day four today of bios and really tired. I did expect this and hopeful my body will get used to it soon. It is working though. Heart rates down into the seventies after I take it. Off for my 24hr monitor this morning then venturing into school to have Christmas dinner with the children. I do two afternoons voluntary work in our primary school so don't want to miss this week. I'm sure they will pep me up. Need to motivate myself I think..

Hope everyone is nearly ready for Christmas.

Have a good day everyone.

Vicky 😊

My GP and EP said that with many long term medicines and particularly thinks like bisoprolol, flecainide, digoxin, amioderone, etc it takes three to four weeks to stabilise. That is why sometimes they do bisoprolol in 1.25mg steps (that's what happened in my case). Fine tuning approach.

I'm expected to feel a bit flat but I've got going through the day today and managed a lovely afternoon with the children at school. It's the first couple of hours in the morning then I pick up. Thankfully it's working bringing my heart rate down and it's early days yet. Felt less anxious as the day went on too so added bonus 😊

Thank you Barry. Feel so much better today. Managed an afternoon at school yesterday after only expecting to stay an hour.

Going in again today too. It's all the support from yourself and everyone that's kept me positive so a massive thank you.

Have a lovely Christmas.

Vicky 😊

Dear Vicky,

Thank you for your kind message - we all here to help each other.

I got great help myself at the beginning of the year, when I was told that I had Atrial Flutter (which was a massive shock for me), as I have always been extremely fit - I found out later that when you push your heart to extremes which I did, it probably was the cause of my problem, anyway enough about me.

I hope you and our Forum Members have a great Christmas, and keep up the good work - you are doing very well.

Best Wishes

Barry
