The alivecore web site is out of Iphone s models. Amazon has it. Should I buy one to go with my phone or is a separate unit better? If I get it from Amazon which has it in stock can I still get interpretation? Any help so greatly appreciated.

I waited and bought one to physically fit my iPhone 5c. As it happens, it doesn't fit very well and pops off easily, so I never fit it, just put it by the side of my phone/device and use it like that, works well.
So personally, I'd forget whether it fits any particular device or not.

I bought one for my iPhone 5s at the beginning of the year and it fits snugly on the phone. I bought mine through AFA. If you are in the UK then you need to buy from Amazon unless AliveCor have changed it recently became they wouldn't sell to UK from their website. If you buy the standalone one it will work exactly the same as one in case.
I bought mine from Amazon and do not have it attached to my iPhone 5. I use it as a "stand alone" with both my iPhone and iPad.
Yes, you will be able to get an interpretation of your trace and I have recently used this facility.
If I had mine attached to my phone I'd take my EKG all day long. Now I just check my emails all day long
Mine was bought as an iPhone 5 case and I bought it from Amazon.
Now I've got an iPhone 6 Plus, I've 'popped' the Alivecor out of the iphone5 case and stuck it to the back of the 6 plus.
Having a purpose built case was better.

I keep mine attached to my phone as I have my phone with me all the time and therefore can use the Alivecor whenever I need/want to, tho I use it a lot less than I did at first. It does make the phone rather bulky and heavy though, tho maybe they are a bit smaller/lighter for the newer phones. I bought mine from Amazon and have had no problems with help/communication with the manufacturing company.
