Anything under 50 bpm comes up as "unclassified" for me.

On a few occasions I have had an unclassified message when my heart rate is in NSR but above 100 bpm. When my daughter was pregnant her heart beat contantly above 100 and she also had an unclassified reading. However, just under 100 the reading was normal. So perhaps the parameters for 'normal' readings is when the heart rate is between 50 - 100, outside that range triggers 'unclassified'.

Umm my hr is 60/70 and is unclassified

My Kardia always notes normal even when HR is below 60, & even when my heart feels like it's beating really hard, but in rhythm. It's never given me any other result.

Hiya, yes using the Kardia app I got an "Unclassified" reading at 48 BPM, and I got a screen message saying that this could be because my pulse is out of the range considered normal.

(If my pulse is below 49 the ECG is automatically "Unclassified").

However I've had a lot of "Unclassified" for other reasons, such as multiples of atrial and/or ventricular ectopics, sinus arrhythmia, multiple morphologies of ventricular ectopics.

Ah. When I have had an unclassified reading at that rate it has been because of interference, where the reading looks jumpy and erratic (but not AF). Other than that, I don't know, sorry.

Not into all this technology I am on Flecainide and Bisoprolol which means my heart rate is normally between 40 & 50bpm.

Now I know I am unclassified - a very apt description of myself if I may say so.

That's funny could do with a good laugh i think that's a good discription of us all unable to classify haha

Yes I've hadit a few times and I'm ok. Think its just me not holding it properly or soemthing, I feel fine. And my HR would normally be about 90

Hiya, yes I have had unclassified Kardia ECG's at below 50 pulse. However, I also get them when I'm getting a lot of ectopics.

(It considers having some ectopics as normal but above a certain level, it labels the ECG unclassified).

I sent away some 'Unclassified' ECG's for analysis.

One, as others mentioned here, was merely because it was out of the 'normal' range of pulse rates, in my case sinus bradycardia.

Others Unclassified, I sent away because they were obviously very very wonky, and it gave me reports which reflected that.

It wouldn't hurt to send one away just to put your mind at ease...

I get the three readings which are 'possible AFib, Unclassified and Normal'. I have both AFib and AFlutter. At the moment my HR is stuck on 95-105 and has been for four months. I'm having an AV node ablation in ten days.

I'm not sure what unclassified really means on the Kardia app. Is it when I'm in AFlutter as I think the app cannot identify that type of rhythm? Any ideas?

i get the same and i believe it is when i am in a-flutter

I get 'unclassified' when I have more than two or three ectopics in 30 seconds - especially PAC's.

I seem to get more Unclassified than Normal now - my eptopics jump around a lot but my Kardia doesn't specifically recognise them. When I sent a readout away for analysis once, it said, ..'outside normal readings, but could be other arrhythmias'. What might that mean?

When I take 2.5mg Bisoprolol, my HR drops into the 30's and always results in an unclassified result. If I take 1.25, HR is around 65, and I usually get a normal result.

Hi all, I got some unclassified before my ablation, but didn't believe it, the graph showed differently. I thought then that maybe it was identifying a few like this, so that you would send some away for analysis, maybe the team wasn't getting enough work?

i get the same

Remember not all heart wonkiness is going to fall into a few neat categories such as AF, &c.

My Unclassified ECG's were the most useful ones and showed that there are possibly some other things going on with my heart that need a medical opinion.

When my GP looked at one of these she decided I needed a referral to an EP.

A slow day at Alivecor is not going to change the algorithms that determine if there is anything that needs looking at.
