I notice that AF sufferers meet up for coffee in various parts of the UK. Is there anyone on this forum who lives in the Canterbury area and would be interested in doing the same? There are plenty of good coffee houses in our small but very busy city.

Good call, the more the merrier. Too far for me though. We do lunch about three times a years down in West Country and it is always enjoyable. By the way you can search people near you on this forum.
Well, who knows, Bob? Nothing tried, nothing gained. Too bad you aren't closer! However, somebody, like myself, who belongs to the forum and reads the posts and lives within a commuting distance, may come up trumps.
Yes I'm up for a natter/cuppa and I live near Folkestone so not far to go!! Let me know when/where and hopefully I can join you - even if it's just us two
That would be great! I am on my way home from France, via Geneva, at the moment. I will be in touch with you again over the weekend when I have taken a look at my diary. I could meet you in Folkestone or we could agree on some point in between. I don't drive so I would need something on a bus route. Perhaps someone else will pick up on your positivity in the meantime.
It would be nice to form our own "local" group that could perhaps meet up once a month or so. What's the phrase - "great oaks from little acorns grew"?
