I have CHF as well as AF so am on diuretics as of late they haven't been working as well, today I had to have a CT scan so did not take frusemide at 7am as usual I took it about 11am when I got home and gosh it seems to work much better so if anyone has the same problem you could try it,

Hi Mazza, that's good that the slight change of time is making it more effective at getting rid of the excess fluid. But, don't take it too late in the day or you could be up every hour during the night.

I never took my diuretic if I was going out anywhere, otherwise the first question I asked when I got to where I was going was the obvious one - wheres the loo!!

Walter.

With no prostate to my name that is the first question! I don't recommend it mind you. Some people don't know how lucky they are.

Yes, I've still got mine Bob, with BPH and the slight problems that brings. Just make sure I get the PSA checked every year, to keep an eye on it.

Well done. It took them four years to find mine with steadily rising PSA ending in the mid thirties. Gleeson score of 7 didn't help but a very radical operation did. Took lots of other bits away at the same time followed by radiotherapy and hormone implants for three years but PSA currently undetectable. Never be complacent.
