Being one of those people always trying to improve upon my AF situation. I am wondering if anyone has changed from Verapamil to Flecainide with an improvement all round in well being? I have Af plus a leaky tri cuspid valve but other wise I am 'OK'! But I am all for any improvement towards' normal'.

I seem to have high intolerance of calcium channel blockers. I am on verapamil now but find it difficult. Same as flecainide etc etc etc. I have arrythmias AFib and A flutter(had ablation but flutter has raised its ugly head again. Was in hosp just before xmas. Have sick sinus syndrome so have a pacemaker.I see my consultant again in two weeks. Had medication adjusted but still not right. Main symptom is breathlessness on walking out or climbing stairs. A feeling of suffocation and zombie! I am a sporty person so this is just not pleasant for me in all respects. Further ablation has been mentioned...nodal...which I dont want. I shall lose human control!. Can anyone give their experiences of nodal ablation please. Thank you...
