Ablation question re coronary stent

Hi have any of you had an ablation and already have a coronary stent? If so ,did you feel that the stent was affected by the ablation ? I'm waiting for a pulmonary vein ablation and have had a stent for 4 yrs . I still get some angina symptoms and am nervous that this may be exacerbated by the ablation . Appreciate your feedback x

What you have to understand is that the stent will be in an artery feeding the heart muscle and the route to the heart for ablation is through a vein so I very much doubt that it will be affected. If you think of the heart as London, the stent is on the Hammersmith Fly-over and you are going in via The East End.
