I'm 61 and diagnosed with a foreman Ovale. ( not sure I spelled this correctly) and an aneurysm within. Placed on sotolol.

At first, it was a terrible feeling of u wellness, when on this drug. I discovered taking vitamin E (400) 1 tablet with each dose. Morning and night. The difference in the way I felt, was almost instant. Check with your doctor to be sure it's not a conflict with other medication you may be taking. If I forget to take vitamin E...the same unwell feelings return. The periodic scary and annoying palpitations of irregular beats, disappeared.

IN UK, Sotalol is no longer recommended for treatment of AF (NICE guidelines 2014) but not sure if your condition indicates it. I believe it can affect the ventricle beat. Best to discuss with your cardiologist.

I don't understand. What would that have to do with my condition? Sorry...maybe I'm missing something. A foreman Ovale is a hole in the heart. Mine is very large, causes my heart to race up to 325 beats per minute. This is why I'm on sotolol. The surgical procedure is more risky because the aneurism is located within the hole....

Oh...okay...I don't think my diet is lacking fat. I eat a normal healthy diet including a balance of fats, proteins, carbs.

I have spoken to others who have added vitamin E and they too, noticed a significant improvement. BUT...everyone should consult with their cardiologist before taking.
