Bisoprolol will not stop AF but it may reduce your heart rate when in AF although it may also make you feel very tired. Digoxin may well not do much either as you really need a rhythm control drug if you want to stop it happening.

Bob I noticed while on Degoxin when I go up stairs or housework my heart starts to beat faster and my GP says it's not for me as its for more sedating people so that's why he told me to take this what u think and what are the drugs to stop it

You will need to see an Electrophysiologist to find that out. Not everybody is suitable and not all work feo everybody. Look at the fact sheets on AF-ASSOCIATION main website .
