I had one last week, for the first time in decades - taking Apixaban, Flecainide and Bisoprolol. When it first happened a long time ago, I was told they are harmless if unsightly - to me it still looks worrying! Apparently a tiny amount of blood seeps out but look enormous.

I had one about 5 weeks ago, it was my first and hopefully only one. I take warfarin and also flecainide as a pill in the pocket. I had a weekend with 8 nosebleeds two weeks ago and have also noticed my gums are bleeding quite heavily sometimes when I clean my teeth.

I've had a couple now, but didn't know they could be a side effect of taking warfarin. Didn't cause me any issues, just looked a little odd.

Yes - I experienced occasional moderate bleeds over the last few years - possibly due to raised BP - but I wasn't on any medication at that time. Since then I had a bout of AF and was prescribed Warfarin. I have had a run of eye bleeds this year, much more severe covering the whole of the white of my eye - left in particular. They were re-occuring even before the last had reabsorbed. Quite uncomfortable not to say unsightly and I avoided social contact. I got fed up and went to GP who agreed it was probably due to Warfarin. I'd had to stop it for a colonoscopy in March and my INR overshot once I started taking it again. He said I could keep to the lower end of the range 2-3 and although my eyes are still a bit red, I haven't had a real bleed for a week or two now. Fingers crossed.

Incidentally, I had put small amount of rectal bleeding down to Wafarin as well, but it turned out to be something a bit more sinister. Difficult to know when to worry isn't it?

I had one a couple of weeks ago and put it down to the Warfarin. I am on 7 mg a day plus diltiazem and losartan. It went away in a few days, didn't cause any problems except looking like I had been out on the town. :-)
