AliveCor and Samsung Galaxy S3 mini.

I am thinking of getting an AliveCor device. I emailed the makers to ask if it is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy SIII mini phone, as on their website it only says compatible with Galaxy SIII. The reply was that they couldn't tell me, as there are too many phones for them to test every one. Does anyone have a Samsung Galaxy SIII mini, and does the AliveCor work with it?

Thanks in anticipation.

I would say it will work fine with your galaxy mini. I was wondering if you are able to download the alivecor app but I have just looked at Amazon and someone reviewing has a galaxy something or other. Read the reviews in this link;

amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00THK...

I suggest you try downloading the app on your phone first. If you can do that then the device should work too.

If you buy it from Amazon and find it doesn't work, and I'm 99% sure it will work, just send it back to them. It's easy to return things to them.

( in case this interests anyone; I've just switched my iphone5 alivecor device to a new iphone6 plus by popping it out of the case and sticking a universal plate to the back of my new phone. Works just the same)

Once you receive your alivecor, if you have any trouble, come back on here and we'll sort it out.

Ive got one on my iphone 6 and its brilliant, now says im not in AF after my ablation too :-) so happy!! Its so reassuring when i have a few blips Now and then after ablation where im recovering to check im still in normal rhythm, and really puts my mind at rest and takes away a lot of stress knowing my heart is beating ok. They work brilliant every day i used to go on it and it used to pick up my AF every go! Get one, there brilliant!

Thanks Steve, I did get one, and took the print-outs when I went to see the EP last month. Glad to hear that you are no longer in AF.
