I have had three ablation procedures since 2006 and although not cured completely, the last one, combined with 50mg Flecainide twice a day, Is keeping me reasonably stable. Vaseline and a sports bottle to make it easy to dring lying down are about all you'll need. I was back home within 24 hours. Just trust your doctors and relax and you'll be back to better than normal before you know it.

There must be something in the anaesthetic they use that causes your lips to dry out so much and makes the Vaseline / lip salve so necessary.
