Had a very bad night last night and thought I was in for something horrible but when it became light I found my Flecanide and zopiclone

Hi Terry I got my Flecanide dosages confused recently and then at times couldn't remember if I'd taken them or not so can sympathize with you on that one!

Feel like sticking some thing round my wrist or something uncomfortable to make me remember. I usually take them after finishing reading and putting the light out. Sooo tired last night went to sleep straight away but woke after one and a half hours. Happy days ! Keep well. Terry

Problem is with sonething you take on a regular basis you take

them automatically and if you have other things on your mind

its quite easy to forget or end up wondering if you took them

or not. Its much easier when they are marked for each day.

For goodness sake don't forget for a week, lol. It put me in A&E. Won't do that again in a hurry :-(

Is anyone out there an inventor? There is definitely a market for a pill container which can keep track of medication, plus a reminder alarm. And childproof too!

My parents who are on lots of meds between them for various things use packs from their surgery. Mon - Sun, morning, afternoon, evening. Hope that helps

Zopiclone. Oh dear, the dreaded Z. My GP refused to prescribe these and told me what they could do to me. Do be careful- they are dangerous drugs.

I just use my important dates and time on my phone to a time I should be taking my tabs, which is usually 30mins after I should have taken them, I always seem to remember, but still the alarm buzzes in case I forget.

Zopiclone really works for me and gives me a good nights sleep which makes me feel good and able to cope with the work for the next day. Flecanide is troublesome and also Ibersartan but the side effects can be dealt with and don't alter my brain. I take sodium supplements also vitamin D3 also I'm on HRT for the last 30 years. Together with veggies, regular meals and rarely snacks apart from nuts and fruit. Bob's recent mention of ibuprofen has made me really think about that drug being associated with the trigger for the start of my AF years ago. It's been along struggle to feel normal again . Years on beta blockers calcium channel blockers plus loads that I can't even remember the names of. Sometimes I felt like a zombie and was useless for anything. Arguing with consultants until my doctor said I was allergic to beta blockers. (During this time I was admitted to hospital wth HR 29). That was on 1.25 bisoperol plus another try out on another med.

It only proves how different we all are and really should be treated as such. After all we all are different sizes and if we had something specially made for us wouldn't expect to be given the standard dress- one size doesn't fit all. Why should it be any different in medicine. Sorry about the rant but I know that some of you will be going through the same journey and it's ahard slog. It's the first time that I forgot my pills and won't do so again( I hope ). Do keep well best wishes. Terry. PS. The box with the alarm sounds a good idea as some of us don't just take drugs twice aday.

Thanks loo but I think it won't happen again. I arrange my night time pills in pattern and take the last two just before I go to sleep. Sheer sloppiness on my part. Terry
