Medication and dry lips ??

I have had very dry lips for a few weeks now and I'm fed up having to use lipsalve or vaseline on and off throughout the day . I've never had this before so could it be linked to Warfarin which I have recently started?

I did not have this problem with warfarin but it caused me great difficulty immediately after my ablation. I blamed the anaesthetic and have posted here about taking Vaseline into hospital with you. To- day I saw a product in a £ shop called Pond's lip salve which might be useful.

Hi,

It is possible as l am just on Warfarin now following Ablation six weeks ago....

What l do is exfoliate my lips with my electric toothbrush when cleaning teeth...Then a dab of Vasaline...Instant results....soft lips...
