Eye sight effected by Pradaxa?

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone's eye sight has been effected by taking the anticoagulant Pradaxa. I'm on no other medication, and my right eye seems a bit blurry compared to my left since taking it. (4 months so far). It may just be coincidental but I thought I'd put the question out.

Many thanks

Mark

Hi Mark, I've been on Predaxa for 4 weeks now and I haven't noticed any deterioration of my eyes. My stomach feels vaguely iffy sometimes but I think that is lessening.

Best wishes

Assuming you haven't a cataract or glaucoma, I guess it might be drugs. I do have glaucoma but it is monitored and under control. However, I am having eye problems. Blurring comes and goes and is particularly bad when my eyes are tired or when reading too long. It's almost as though they go in and out of focus. I am seeing my eye specialist this month and will ask for a positive opinion rather than a grunted admission that it is dry eyes - the standard response!
