cox maze procedure

Hi has anyone had a cox maze procedure if so how long is reasonable to decided if it has been succesful. I also had a tumour removed from my atria. The consensus is up to 12 months before success can be judged. I am much better than my pre op permanent AF and post op. Mainly its exertion that stops me in my tracks even the slightest incline. As i say am much improved just want to be able to exert myself. Hoping rehab will be allowed after they stopped me as my heart rate dropped. A 48 hr monitor showed heart rate from 45-135 1% tachycardia, 1% bradycardia some ectopics, some bigeminy and some ventricular beats. Any comments would be welcome currently on 2.5mg of bisporolol
