It never rains!

Hi all, just when I thought I was getting well enough to not need this site so much! ha! Blue lighted to hospital on Friday evening with suspected heart attack, turns out it is more likely either angina or oesophageal spasm caused by cryo-ablation 4 weeks ago. They have changed my medication from Sotalol (80mg x 2) to bisoprolol (5mg).

Has anyone else had this spasm thing?

Have the ablation team looked at you?

The oesophagus is close to the other structures so they might need to check things out for you

Haven't had such a spasm but Dr. put me on Nexium prior to my Afutter ablation and for a month aterwards. This med is to prevent heartburn, don't know if it is used in UK.
