INR readings

Good morning all, well went for my INR check this morning after a week and last reading was 2.6 now today its 1.7. I have done nothing or eaten anything different from last week so why should it be this reading. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks Dot.

I was super careful about what I ate for a few weeks to keep a stable INR before an ablation. Really strict partly because my other half was on a very restricted low fibre diet.

I soon discovered that exercise plays a big part. i used to walk 5 miles a day. Walk 6 miles one day, 7 the next and the INR drops. Have some sedentary days, INR goes up.

my INR was 3.0 when I had my results the next time round it was 1.7 don't ask why I have no idea !

So next week its going to be something else we shall see.I am now taking 5mg per day from taking 4 one day and 5 the other.

I to like to walk no matter how tired I feel I keep walking, its not been easy some days I must say.

Don't know where I am going either. Well, actually looks like it might be down. 3.4 ten days ago then 2.2 a week later - almost the same drop as yours. I had started to walk more and my dose had been lowered slightly and I did have some broccoli. Have a 2 week gap before next test.

I am very fond of my treadmill, but reluctant to use it on the days when I have AF.
