We are all different but for what it is worth. my wife used to have BP around that level all the time and she had nothing wrong with her.------------ medically anyway LOL

My bp is about the same as yours when I am sat quietly in my chair. It can raise substantially when I'm at the Dr's or stressed. Both my sons have low bp - the younger is 6'5" and used to be prone to keeling over. The GP said he must learn to stand up slowly! Various relatives have low bp so it must be inherited. I am of the opinion that it is not an exact science.

Mine is often near that level or lower. Docs tend to say the lower the better! As long as you feel OK. Sandra

On one occasion I was bundled into an ambulance with an uncharacteristic attack of low blood pressure and a silly pulse. It was OK by the time we had travelled the 22 miles to A & E. My blood pressure improved too and when it was 105/50 they thought it would be OK to send me home. They rang my GP and found this was not the norm for me and I was detained for further observation. First time I heard mention of 'blood pooling' ......

My beta blockers for arrhythmias leave mine low EP not bothered by it so I'm fine. If I had symptoms would refer back to him. However went for CT scan yest to ensure no growth post tumour removal, bp 103/63 and they wouldn't let me go home. Much discussions I convinced them OK for me and I'm still alive this morning.

Probably OK at that, if you are feeling alright. Mine went down and stayed at around 97/55 and my GP thought it a bit low and reduced my high BP tablets and it now sits happily at about 117/65.

As BobD says...we are all different.

It may be considered low, but if I ever reach anything over 100 I am delighted as my 'norm' is about 90/50. It's when it drops to 70/40and below I worry as that starts my AFib. That seems to be the level the medics don't like. Anything under 90 means that your kidneys don't work efficiently.
