40hrs post ablation

Bit the bullet and had my first pulmonary vein isolation .took 90mins to do .felt ok for first few hours but then felt like a bus had hit my chest, hard to breath and very tender. I was assured that this was a good sign.the heart has been bruised so when you lean forward or cough etc it presses against the ribs or lungs hence the pain .after 24hrs felt a lot better pain wise, and last night a thousand % better sleep with virtually no pain in the chest area?can't feel my a/f at the moment so hopefully it will stay that way !

Take it easy and get well slowly. No chasing about for a couple of weeks. Good, luck and stay in touch.
