off to see surgeons

well wish me luck today off to see surgeon re removing benign tumour in my heart and surgical ablation at same time to hopefully cure my AF daunting prospect but need to feel better after 4 years of steadily feeling more debilitated

Many thanks i had carioversion which lasted a month then 2 abaltions cancelled once due to INR and another time as lab time run out 3rd try was abandonded after some 2 hrs had CT scan then TOE which found the tumour. So really not typical AF cause hence delay in diagnosis. My EP referred me 2 weeks ago to surgeon hope he is a s nice as EP who is a great ad for his profession

well i have been there hours very thorough surgeon. I have to now have 24 hr ecg monitor and a angiogram as if going into the heart may as well do everything that needs doing!!!!! Had perfusion and stress tests last yr all negative. He is 90% certain the tumour is benign and he has never seen this before so new to him. He is listing me as urgent. Disappointed no date but praying it will be soon ta everyone
