Why not if you fell up to it. All things in moderation.

Exercise is safe as long as you know your own limits and do not push it.

Exercise is good, I agree with some of the comments made, but disagree with one thing, sits-ups are not safe. Based on my own experience and much advice over the years, I no longer work on sit-ups.

I only wish I could exercise....I can hardly walk anywhere without losing my breath :( You go for it xxxxx

I do 80 of the blessed things every day (56 years old!) and I don't think it is doing me any harm, if I fall to pieces at any point I'll be sure to report back. I think it's a case of taking things slowly, working up to your target and if you feel at all bad, stop. We're all individuals and AF is a really individual thing. I'm trying to lose weight and develop some fitness to try to help with the AF.

For me it is a shame I cannot go to the gym anymore! I am waiting for an Ablation which will hopefully happen end of Dec or early Jan. I find any sort of physical exertion brings on AF. At the moment I am trying to lose weight by cutting down on sugar fat and salt as well as a 30 min walk each day .)
