Hi Caromia

I assume that you know that the Birmingham Half Marathon is on outside the ICC on Sunday, they are nominating the same car parks as are recommended for the ICC, and there will be thousands of people running, and there are also road closures, making only one way in and out of the car parks.

Having done my research now, I shall be driving up to Birmingham International station and then taking the train into New Street, (the first train from London does not get in until 10:46am and takes nearly three hours) I really do not want to end up driving round road closures with thousands looking for a parking space.

And as I am coming up on the Saturday evening as well, I shall at least know where to find the ICC. See you for dinner Bob !!

PS Is it just me, or does a train taking 2 hrs and 46 mins to travel 100 miles seem exceptionally slow? and that's the fast train on Sunday.

Oh this is getting tricky finding somewhere to park...l will have to rethink....C

Ian iii there parking at the international station....Should l meet u there and if so what time....C

I'm also driving to B'ham International.....trains from there to New Street at 8.55, 9.03, 9.28.

Anyone travelling from Leamington Spa, Warwick, Kenilworth or anywhere round there....happy to pick you up or car share.
