It's been a while. It has been a really busy 2 months. My wife's mother went down and she lives about 750 miles from us. I have driven back and forth quite a few times since early June.
AND....
My son and daughter-in-law had twins about 8 days ago. They have really put us through the ringer. Everything was going fine and in one day Tessa (Daughter-in-law) developed Pre Eclampsia and was admitted into the hospital in the morning and they delivered the babies about 12 hours later. We were quite worried because she was only at 30 weeks. But even being that early they each weighed 3lbs 11ozs and cried as soon as they were born. We were told not to expect them to cry because chances were that their lungs hadn't fully developed. Calvin (the boy) was taken off of assisted breathing the next morning and Athena ( the girl) was breathing on her own the next day. Both of them and Mommy are doing great. Even though they are eating and breathing fine, they say that they will stay in NICU for about 4 to 6 weeks. I can't wait to hold them.
In the picture, Athena has the brown hair and Calvin is really blond. You can't tell by the picture but they are REALLY tiny.
When I did try to log in a few weeks back I found that the new site doesn't like my IE10. I get a message saying that my browser isn't supported, so I just downloaded Chrome and it seems to be working with it.
Anyway, I'm back and doing fine. Will still be traveling back and forth to Oklahoma for another month or so but will keep up on the posts and answer when I can.
It's good to be back...

Great you are back. Such wonderful little babies, you all must be so proud. I think if they had gone full term they would have hair right down there backs! Congratulations.
Good to have you back and congratulations on the birth of your twin grandchildren. They look gorgeous and what a delight to have them safely here. Enjoy every minute.
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your two gorgeous grandchildren who will be such a delight to you as they grow up. Great to see you back on the site, I always read your posts with interest,
Hi Tim it's good to see you back on this site, we all appreciate your words of wisdom you know! Thank you for posting the photos of your adorable grandchildren and congratulations. It's difficult to imagine just how tiny they must be.
Thank you all for the comments. The little ones are taking up a bunch of my time. They let me change Calvin's diaper today but they will only let mommy and daddy hold them. I'm thankful that they are so careful but I really want to sit in a rocking chair and rock my grand babies. They have both gained weight (Calvin more than Athena) and are really doing great.
Jean, you can tell how tiny they are in the top picture of Athena. That is a normal sized pacifier she is sucking.
