I had an appointment with my urologist Monday, and got generally good news. My numbers are good (and have consistently been so), after EBRT last April and over a year of ADT.
Around December (@ 2 years of Orgovyx...) I'll have a follow-up PSMA/PET scan to see what's up. If it's a clean scan, I'll be able to stop ADT then. Quite a while off, but nice to see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.

Thats wild. As you can tell by my avatar I have no knowledge of Jethro Tull lol.
It wasnt till the 80's I saw George Carlin. My sister worked at the venue and gifted my wife and I the tickets. She knew/knows I'm a big fan. When we saw him it was his tour where he broke out his humor about "stuff" among of course a whole lot more.
I digress ha.
Why dont I know my first concert (I'm asking myself). We brought our son to his first concert: an outdoor Pink Floyd concert.
My tastes are very varied but anyway I think my first concert was a Grateful Dead concert. No wonder those were the times. I cant remember anything.
Never heard that one (saving it) .... and George was my favorite (Except when he played in western movies)...... Since he's passed on, my favorite now, is me.....(BTW after me you're first)...,
Good to hear Jp. Hope to get a similar prognostication from my MO on Monday. Sounds like your other issues have moderated to some degree.
This month marks my 1 year on Orgovyx and 4th month on Abiraterone. I’m weening myself off Tamsulosin, something that became a lifesaver during my EBRT. It’s been difficult, though. So, other than the standard range of SEs, everything is still hunky-dory. Here’s to your future holidays!
My husband got very similar se with radiation therapy. Reading that you are improving gives us hope. He is 6 weeks after RT and on 1 pill a day. Slowly getting better.
After only my second day of RT, my RO had me on two doses of tam per day plus one ibuprofen. It’s been gradual, but I’ve definitely had substantial recovery in 4 months. I believe most literature says 6 months to a year for recovery to your former self. So your husband just needs to hang in there and, above all, have patience.
Hope good news. Here in Finland🇫🇮 if you have mhspc(metastatic hormone sensitive pca) like you and me have, you are in adt rest of your life. Cancer cells need androgens especially testosterone to grow, live and to spred. So there is a risk if you stop Orgovyx(adt) cancer will start to spread rapidly. So I continue taking Orgovyx continuously probaply rest of my life .Now being adt hormone therapy 18 months and continue...
