My husband got his first treatment of chemo three weeks ago. The first week he was exhausted and feeling worst on the chemo than the radiation. After that he started doing more things and eating better. He had his second treatment yesterday. He lost his hair but that's the only side effect as of now. Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts. Hope everyone is doing good also! Praying for everyone with this monster inside of them!
So far so good!: My husband got his... - Advanced Prostate...
So far so good!
My very best to the chemo journey. I just had my second infusion last week..Week one is a little rough especially Day 4 and 5. After that , did some exercises, like walking ,stretching and some weights at the gym. Felt a lot better after...eating a lot better, soaking the sun, and some prespiration....Drank a lot of fluids too...And continue to seek God protection and wisdom. God bless
Prayer sent your way for you and him...Best of luck with chemo...You can use ice on the feet and hands and scalp to lessen the neuropathy and hair loss. My friend did stair stepping during infusions and got an excellent response...Try exercise--walking afterwards to help maintain strength and well being. God bless you both...

Had 6 rounds of taxotere chemo, daughter is a nurse and recommended I start anti nausea drugs and take them. Worked ,lots of naps. Fight that monster. 🙏🙏🙏
Great news, loss of hair all over, no big deal and save on haircuts, bald/short hair is in. The only other effect I had was dry toe nails and hand nails but things go back to normal in 6 to 8 months, even the hair but thined out but feel good after over a year and the ADT stopped the beast and even the bone mets are healing, well worth it. The sex part, who cares at least we are alive and have years left. Keep up the good work, I did change the diet to very little red meat and take tumeric with black pepper and Curcumin along with the supplements.
Good News Mama.... now bakes us sumptin to eat....
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Hang in there. I had my chemo about 6 weeks ago and now dealing with recovery issues....almost as bad as the chemo (edema, loss of appetite. etc.)
Hi. Good luck. I made it ok with some annoying side effects. Very annoying neuropathy of feet AFTER chemo. With all that said, would do it again in a heart beat. Some things you just gotta do. Enjoy.
