Nature in all it's diversity, is the holistic expression of all of life. As such, it calls us to observe, test and recognize how nature's bounty can help us heal without having to worry about unintended consequences. I believe this approach to understanding what's real including an appreciation of the integrity of the whole, is an approach that comes with the integrity of our health. (IMHO)
This morning, I tried to start nature's bounty with food, so I made some soup in my mother's old stainless-steel pan: I can remember her cooking in that pan when I was a child.
All produce was scrubbed with a new little brush someone gifted me.
I used A bag of tiny potatoes cut in bit size pieces, two large zucchinis, 6 tomatoes, one red and one white onion, one garlic bulb, some carrots, one leek, some water and some left over broccoli I placed on top when we were ready to eat. It is very similar to the healing cancer, Hippocrates soup. 💜💜 All those recipes are online. Since I'm new to cooking I would appreciate any recipes you are able to share Thank You

I love soups! Wife makes the best! They are so healthy, filling and one of the few foods that can be frozen/left in the fridge and actually taste BETTER the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time you dine!!
▢28 oz tomatoes smashed with a spoon or your hands
▢1 /4 cup extra virgin olive oil
▢2 bay leaves
▢freshly ground pepper
▢salt
For serving
▢chili pepper flakes optional
▢red wine vinegar optional
▢extra virgin olive oil optional
▢fresh herbs leaves, thyme oregano or sage optional
Instructions
Rinse the lentils and drain well.
In a large pot heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and the garlic. Sauté for 1-2 min.
Add the carrots and celery and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
Stir and add the lentils, smashed tomatoes (you can also smash the tomatoes with your spoon after you add them in) and vegetable stock. Bring to a boil for 1-2 min.
Lower the heat to the minimum. Cover the pot and simmer for 60-90 minutes. Cooking time depends on the kind of lentils you are using. I am using green lentils that require longer cooking. Check lentils often until they have the desired texture. Adjust liquids too, you might need to add a little water or stock to achieve your desired soup consistency).
Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
Serve lentils in bowls with a slight sprinkle of red hot chili pepper flakes, a 1 tbsp olive, a tbs of red wine vinegar (optional) and warm crusty bread on the side.

When in the dish (personal taste), we here add a small splash of "Pure Greek Olive Oil" and a squeeze in a little lemon juice. Then eat the soup with Greek crusty bread, Feta cheese and a bite of a raw onion (soup must be burning hot).
Yes, you’re absolutely right, i might pass first. But until I do pass, I will continue to try to help as many cancer patients as I can. I make cards for the children in cancer wards also and they melt my heart ❤️
Thanks for your kindness as well as your wonderful posts.💜💜
