hello all! My dad was diagnosed this year and we got his biopsy done on Oct 7th for dendritic cell therapy. The doctors took 1gm of tissue and pricked him around 10 times to get the needed material. Since then my dad is having issues in urination. He has been going to the washroom every one hour but not being able to completely empty himself. He is not able to sleep or operate normally because of this. His doctor has prescribed him some medications which are antibiotics and others but nothing seems to be working right now. We are very worried as what next to do. Doctor is unavailable due to festival in India.

when dad got his biopsy we were told that for a day or two he may feel the urge to urinate more often and if it does not become lesser or better to let them know
My biopsy was 16 years ago. I remember I had blood in urine for a few days. I eventually, four years later, went stage 4. The first metastases appeared in the area of the biopsy, rectum and tailbone. I believe the biopsy spread my cancer. I had radiation therapy instead of surgery to remove/kill prostate, and the PC was confined to prostate at time of biopsy. After onset of stage 4, (PSA rise), I had intermittent hormone therapy. I am still on hormone therapy, although the cancer is undetectable.
