nice looking family and I can see that the wine flowed for lunch too rotflol. The rate you are going , you’ll be sipping a crisp Bordeaux varietal in France before long lol. Your trek just shows what a motivated croaker can actually QOL accomplish in this phase of our lives . To enrichen your personal life experience like this must feel very rewarding, …. and sets an example for what some of could do as well. Impressive buddy. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.

Alright buster …. ( had to show that huge stack of razor clams , right there in the picture didn’t ja. ) …

Well….. I’ll be trekking down the short hall to Halls End and arrive for my reservations at Cafe Le Marteau, many stars at le marteau ( you see the stars when hit with the marteau ). I’ll enjoy a delicious , well prepared, perfectly aged , bowl of gazpacho ( been sitting in the back of the frige for three days in other words ), made by famous chef le Cam’pbell.

Of course I’d rather be sitting there woofing down that exotic Spanish seafood and tasty sangria with you buddy , but not all of us can be there , chill’in out in a full blown Rick Steves adventure…..like you brother. Rotflol.

On the serious side, sounds great, a beautiful conclusion to your amazing trek. That food is worth the trip alone lol. Put some of those Razor Clams in your pocket and bring them back and share buddy. Lol

Are those Razor Clams in ur pocket or are you just glad to see me🤣

There are long @ss sections with no peregrinos, no town, no water. And if you're in a town too early, they may not be open, or only have cold pastries as they don't do dinner til after 5pm

The larger ones will have bocadillos ready or made fresh, like the one I got where the geese were😂

The larger towns like Leon have dozens, see my latest post

Countryside is Beautiful, but at this point sorta seen that already mode

It’s understandable that you’re got your fill of there considering how many days / miles under your belt. Now you need to shift over to that shocking beautiful trail beside the Amofi coast trail , the cinque terre. Different but more intense vistas and architecture and when you get tired , no problem with finding resources for dinning and play 24/7. Just say’in.

In Sarria, Vanessa the Taxi Driver was really nice, spoke English and drove a Stick. Had American Pop music on. I was smitten🥰JK😂

What I like best about “ all this , “ buddy , is that you took time to do a “ top of the bucket A list “ trip and have stayed there totally into a trek of a lifetime. I’m glad you actually “ disconnected “ from the drudgery here…. Your practice, and all those family pressures you were dealing with and did something you love, something for yourself. Good for you little brother , you’ve done so much for everybody else for so long… you really deserve this and lots more.

I book on booking.com for several days ahead for myself as I don't wanna be in a Hostel with a bunch of snorers

It's like 10 Euros for the hostel vs up to 100 Euros for being solo, I have enough issues staying asleep

One night I had to bed at the Albergue Espíritu Santo with 7 other men and boy the cacophony that early am🤣

Mahalo, and no on this, tho coulda used them on Day one as we went over the Pyrenees 😂Can't bring onto a plane as a carry on, never thought to buy when in St Jean. Have used them for Whitney and that Make a Wish 28 Miler

But, despite my Scrawny body tryna balance a 15 lb backpack, I never fell😁
