Finished my 6th Docetaxil infusion a month ago. Didn't get the results I was looking for. Psma scan shows some gone, some smaller, nothing new. MO wants me to do 3 more. TA pointed out about diminishing returns on any more Infusions. Has me wondering if it's worth it. Mild NP and chemo legs have been an issue as of late. Still strong but not sure I want to push it. MO suggested Lu177 if I didn't want the additional chemo. Just kinda bummed that I didn't hit undetectable. Maybe it's my Pten lose.. Who knows as were all different. Any suggestions moving forward ? Thanks for any replies.

Pluvicto is a good choice.
Also consider the following clinical trial for capavasertib:

A similar drug, ipavasertib, has shown efficacy in men with PTEN loss:
My experience with chemo (Docetaxel) is that it worked fine while I was on it. After completing 10 rounds, my PSA started to climb again. I then completed 4 rounds of LU177 and my PSA is undetectable. I am taking a 6 week break before starting the 5 round to see how I respond. If needed, I will continue with the 5th round. Just my experience, I know everyone is different. Most of my cancer is in my abdominal lymph nodes and prostate. Good luck to you.
Thank you carguy for taking time out of your day to share that with me.
You might benefit from reading my bio. I believe I am near elimination of all prostate cancer cells in my body, after over ten years of stage 4.
My husband had a similar response to chemo and radiation. He is oligometastatic de novu with only one spot on pubic bone. After chemo and radiation to spot and prostate, psma scans showed improvement in avidity, suv max reduced on bone spot and prostate but no eliminated. Hes also got pten loss mutation .
Hopefully he continues on his current path. Sounds like he is stable. I worry about the pten lose but not much I can do so I tend to file it. Magnus1964 attached a link about pten lose and time to castrate resistance. It's interesting if you haven't read it .He's been around quite sometime so not all is lost with that mutation.
