So my husband has prostate cancer with mets to the bone, diagnosed 2 years ago, and he just had a CT scan done. They detected a lesion in his liver that was not there before. But the oncologist didn't even mention it? Can they tell it's not from the prostate cancer just from a CT scan?

I have one as well. It has shown up on scans from two years ago and recent scan. God bless.
