Severe muscle cramps nighttime in my legs have recently been wrecking my sleep. After reading up, I discovered that pain in legs can be a side effect of tadalafil/ cialis.
After quitting, the cramps rapidly receeded and after less than a week no longer appear.
I had been taking 5 mg daily for 4-6 months when the cramps started, in different places each time, on either leg. Mainly calves, occasionally thigh or foot.
Alas, all is not gold that glitters.
I will try sildenafil instead. That also has muscle pain as a possible side effect, but at least it is not specified to be in the legs.

I experienced it also but attributed to the ADT drugs , my thinking was it was either the Abiraterone or Prednisone. MO prescribed Potassium Chloride because it was low and they have gone away. I have been taking Cialis for over 10 years so I ruled it out because I did not have severe cramps before ADT.
I’ve been using Cialis for some time, and I’ve generally found it to work well. It’s effective and reliable, but I have experienced occasional mild side effects—nothing as severe as what you describe with the leg cramps, though. It sounds like stopping Cialis was definitely the right choice for you given how disruptive those cramps became.
Before settling on Cialis, I also tried sildenafil. Unfortunately, I experienced more significant side effects with it, including headaches and facial flushing that were hard to tolerate. That’s why I eventually stuck with Cialis, even though it’s not without its drawbacks. It seems these medications can affect everyone differently, so finding the right one sometimes requires trial and error.
Personally, I order Cialis from them fast-supply24.com/buy-ciali..., I have known this pharmacy for a long time, always good quality and service, there is simply no trust in other online pharmacies now..
If you’re trying sildenafil next, I’d recommend starting with a lower dose and gradually increasing if needed. This might help minimize the risk of side effects. Also, staying well-hydrated and stretching before bed might help with muscle-related issues. Good luck, and I hope you find something that works better for you!
Thanks! Your post came just at the right time, since I have just purchased a bunch of sildenafil in Brazil where I can get it without prescription. Will follow your advice and start slowly.
