I just updated/summarized my profile

Hello, I am done updating my profile, and for the sake of lengthiness, I've also summarized it as best as I can. I know it won't be perfect, no one is perfect, even the one on this site who is proclaimed 'perfect'.

I have been posting no-nonsense stuff these past few days. But this is the truth, this picture above is a lot closer reflecting what I am looking like and feeling these days, literally. I am making decisions only by thinking in the present. Focus on living today. I officially stopped all treatments mainly because of the goddam side effects caused by the poisons we call medicine. I cannot take them anymore. My oncologist is with me on this. I am on holiday! And I will be there on vacation for as long as I can.

Thanks to my virtual friends, and my chosen family. Any little bit of encouragement helps me a lot. I am still working (I have a job), but I will quit sooner rather than later to spend priceless time with Mom and my Chiquita Lulu (my 10 years standard Dachsund)

To that person, we name by using two capitalized letters on this site, let me tell you. You are no better than anyone else here. If you are tired from doing a lot of research for the group, and, if you are tired do yourself a favor, rest, and take a break. Please do not threaten to ban people and not answer their questions or comments.

During my now extensive time spent with 'health professionals' their lack of empathy makes me feel a lot worse than when I walked into their office. The phrase that always helps me go on is "Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind" Mahatma Gandhi. Also, there is a founder member of this group whom, when we lose another warrior to this evil disease, His one sympathy word is always the same. 'Sympathy" come on, you can do better than that. Many times these could be people who even financially contributed to the group. All you have to say to a grieving loved one is "sympathy" When I die, please refrain.

To finish, there is another member who calls himself a clown. His 'jokes' are so out of place and never funny. Have some respect, please.

I will completely understand if after this post I get banned and deleted. it does not matter, I am packing and soon enjoying the beautiful South American weather. I shall be back next spring or not. Fellow warriors battling this horrible PC always do what you feel is best for you.

The group clown would say 'Adios hasta la vista baby" if that.

I wish you would practice what you preach! Be kind and stop thinking you are better than everyone else. If you are better without any medication then I am pleased for you. But do not criticise those who are better with recommended medication and those who provide good statically validated information. Enjoy your holiday - more than I can do.Please criticise those who promulgate quack self treatments if you wish to criticise anyone. I too am getting too tired now to post or read useful information on this site and am waiting to see if medics can recommend anything further useful otherwise, I will be taking a break from medication by compulsion not by choice.

Wishing everyone on this site well unless they are here for ulterior motives

Thank you for commenting on my post. Perhaps I am not being clear on the fact that I not criticizing those who chose to be on a treatment. Good for them. This post is directed to those that literally have responded to me and my choices "from now on I will not be responding to your postings" to which I said 'so I am being punished because I dare to voice my not always agreeing with your approach. My way or the high way=you don't do a treatment, I will ignore you' Yes sir, this is where my criticism goes to. How dare him two letters of the alphabet threaten like this?

God bless you sir. I pray that your vacation refreshes you and prepares you for whatever path you decide to take. Never give up hope. I hear people criticized for giving false hope. There is no such things as false hope, false expectations yes but not false hope. I’ll leave you with this. A former urologist told me of a patient who had a RP that failed and when offered radiation this patient, a farmer, refused. A few years later he comes back with intense back pain and a Psa of over 7000. He got a Lupron shot and Psa went to 4 in 3 months. He got another 3 month shot and Psa dropped to 1. He left and didn’t return until pain entered hip several years later. Normal Psa and scans showed hip pain was due to bad hip which was replaced. He was still farming in Lancaster County Pa. when this story was told to me. Prayers have already been offered. Gary
