Just updated my husband's profile so you can see his journey from 2016.
Oncologist today said to continue the Abiraterone for another month and see where we are at with PSA results. Was up again today. He did have 6 rounds of targeted radiation last month, so would that cause PSA to go up. We were hoping the Abiraterone would lower the PSA. He has only been on it 6 weeks.
Her comment today was either to see if he qualifies for a trial at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto Ontario or another form of Chemo. She said that would be the last option available. What does that mean? He is feeling good right now and you would never know he had cancer. He does get tired, however I'm sure that is due to age. Any comments on what's next would be appreciated and if any of you are in the same boat as my hubby. I love him and it has been a roller coaster ride since 2016 with treatment after treatment. Is his time running out? I can't live without him.

He handled docetaxel well after 10 sessions. I believe if he has another round of Chemo it will be cabazitaxel. Not sure yet about the trial. Oncologist was looking into it for him.
Did your PSA go down during the time you were on Abiraterone? My husband's has gone up from 34 to 64. Don't know if that could be from target radiation or not.
When I received my radiation, my PSA initially went up (bounced was the term) as well for the next 2-3 PSA checks and then slowly fell to undetectable after approximately 6 months. I think that is fairly common.
I started taking Orgovyx and now Nubeqa along with LD Naltrexone for little over 2 months my psa was 254 down to 45 now at 6. In another week I will attempt a 21 day water/ electrolyte fast. My doc is pushing chemo I may have to submit .... in time. Please go on YT and search Dr.Thomas Seyfried and also Guy Tetunbaum sent home with his PCa and did a 40 day fast . I learned a lot from them . Best
let’s hope it’s not the end of the war. Stage 4 in 2016 myself. Starting to feel a drain on my body but still on the right side of the grass. Hang in there , 🙏🙏🙏
