Dr. Onik

I know a few of you have used Dr. Onik down South..

Have any of you had metastatic PCa with multiple bone Mets before or following treatment? If so, I'd appreciate hearing about it in as great a detail as you can provide.

If I'm reading his web site correctly, he appears to maintain that he has cured men with mPCa (feel free to correct me). If that's correct, I'm surprised he hasn't been mentioned more often.

I talked to him on the phone about a year ago and provided him with medical history. When I become castrate resistant, I'm going to go down to Florida and see if I should do his treatment program. He has a fascinating background and is really brilliant. He's upfront about the chances he can help someone.

Thanks! Obviously, cost is a factor with him, as well as the relative newness of his metastatic results.

I appreciate your input. I haven't yet reached full castrate resistance, but it could strike at any time.

Yes, no insurance covers his procedure and my understanding with everything it runs about 70K. Cheers to a long wait before the big CR!
