This is one article and I have read others also. They all seem credible but it is unclear to me whether any FDA trials are happening in the US.

If it may be effective than LU-177, that seems worth studying. Does anyone else have more information about this treatment and trials in the United States?

Thanks.

Can Actinium 225 and Lutetium 177 be done before chemo? My dad did one round of Docetaxel, he took it well and after 1st round they said lets do Genetic test and try Xtandi and Lynparza, but it seems not to be working so good. Would you recommend going back to Docetaxel or for better results do Actinium 225 and Lutetium 177? Thank you

In the US, Lu177-PSMA is indicated after any amount of chemo, so your father can get it, if he otherwise qualifies (PSMA avid). Ac225 is only available through clinical trials.

So he is BRCA+?

thank you! He’s not BRCA+, but in Europe they give Lynparza regardless of mutation (he’s also taking Xtandi). Some are saying that its better to do Lu177 before chemo for better results,. So not sure what to do? Or should he at least do 4-5 rounds of Docetaxel first?

The order makes no difference for survival for men who are metastatic and castration-resistant in this small trial:

PSA response was better with Pluvicto first in this small trial:

Thank you for the link and links within article on active studies.

Interesting trials happening. They all appear to be phase 1 and 2. Their criteria seem to vary regarding specific prior treatments and medical condition and for CMP and CBC specific test results.

Guess I will watch and see what comes of it and how quickly it might get through trials...
