Hi Max.
When I read something interesting I follow up with some research on clinical trials. If still interesting, I try to find studies.
Metformin:

I'm going to look into the drugs in your post. I've looked into them earlier and talked to my MO and some of them might have benefits for some people: e.g. metformin, aspirin, statins.
I am not sure, most studies actually got no different results with or without metformin in double blind. But I am keeping an eye on everything they are trying to repurpose!
