Today is a day to honor all Veterans who put their lives on the line for our Freedom. May they remain in our hearts and our memories forever. God Bless them.

THE NEW NORMAL:

Larry: So Harry, what did you do yesterday?

Harry: Well me and Marge went shopping, it was some kind of holiday, something about animal veterinarians.

Larry: lucky you Harry, we stayed home and watched soap opera re-runs. Yuck.

Harry: Too bad, they had these gigantic TV's for sale, showing black and white pictures of I think soldiers fighting in something called World War 2.

Larry: I heard they're going to have that same holiday next year, I can't wait to watch "The days of our lives, reruns" snicker, snicker.

Harry: Before I go, I want to mention that when I was putting away the tons of our Halloween decorations I found these antique red, white and blue table cloths that my Dad used to hang out on the porch on certain days of the year. I wonder why he did that?

Larry: Don't ask me but I'm sure it wasn't for Santa Claus day. Catch ya later.

It is not just those that served that served but all the families that support the troops. Honestly the home front makes greater sacrifices than those in uniform.
