Relugolix and Apalutamide

Any experience with elevated AST and ALT after being treated with Relugolix and Apalutamide?

My AST and ALT were normal on Relugolix for 6 weeks.....added Apalutamide and after 4 weeks my AST and ALT are now 3X previous level. I feel fine. Oncologist is wanting to stop the one of the drugs.....I convinced him to wait another 10 days and repeat labs.

Anyone else experience this?

Nervous because my PSA is now undetectable and I am reluctant to go off the medications.

It’s pretty common actually. Happened to me as well. Stopped apalutimide for two weeks and then restarted at half dose for another two weeks before resuming full dose. After that never had additional elevated levels.

Sometimes the liver can get used to it if you cutback and slowly increase it.

Perfect ⭐⭐⭐

This way other members can see a bit of your "trial" fighting the beast and can comment on it. (Good or Bad).... I for one don't believe in hiding my fight since it may help someone else and even me. Anyway, do what you feel comfortable in doing and keep posting.
