Annual Scans

Hubby is having his annual scans today. Doc ordered CT and bone scan as in the past to compare "apples to apples".At what point should a pet scan be done? Which tracer? His PSA has been in the undetectable range and he is feeling fine besides the regular side effects to the meds.

He doesn't need a PET scan of any kind unless he is getting Pluvicto.

Am I right to say, if his PSA starts going up to 0.2 that it would be time for a PET scan?

No. As I just wrote, "He doesn't need a PET scan of any kind unless he is getting Pluvicto."

There is no reason to get ANY kind of diagnostic test unless it can potentially make a change in his therapy. There is no point in giving him extra tests for no purpose.
