I hope I haven't posted this before. I enjoyed "painting" it, as I included among other things some lace, gesso and even some grit. It is about 9" by 12" -- painting anything bigger can be a bit daunting.
I am sure that some, looking at the barley in the foreground, might see how I sneaked a peak at van Gogh's last painting to see how he handled it. Plagiarism? I hope not!
My art therapist asked why so many of my paintings show a track, road or footpath disappearing into the distance and out of sight around a corner. It was an interesting observation and not something I had previously thought about. Also, why typically dark and stormy skies? She has insights even I miss!
No matter, I hope you enjoy it.

another nice work big guy. Love the barley treatment. Really nice. Tell your art therapist that you have those roads, paths etc. … so you can “ get outta Dodge “ easily. Your way out.
Your painting is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. About 15 years ago we took a family vacation to England and Wales to visit my ancestral homelands. One of the highlights of that trip was the Pembrokshire Coastal Path in Southern Wales that included the Manorbier Castle. The Pembroke Castle was beautiful as well . Have you ever been on and/or painted the Welsh Coastal Paths and its castles?
