Is copper depletion a good treatment?

Hi - an alternative cancer doctor I just visited asked me to look into copper depletion. He sees it as a very effective treatment for prostate cancer and has been helping patients use it for a couple of years now with some incredible results.

Hi!

I gave a quick look to research and yes, copper depletion is used together with other treatments but I can find details just about breast cancer. I will give it a better look later!

Hi,

Yes, I’ve read a couple of resources that suggest reduction in copper is beneficial for PCa. That sucks for me personally because I love chocolate and sea food which are both high up on the list.

Since you’re looking at alternative doctors for this, there’s a ND called Garret Smith who also promotes this. I don’t know that much about him, but it maybe worth looking at some of his work regarding this. His dad died from prostate cancer.

He has some videos on YouTube - search for ‘love your liver’. He also has a website that you could also use but it has a subscription of $99/year.

nutritiondetective.com/

I think he’s using X (Twitter) also.

I get the impression that the YouTube videos will give you a good enough idea though.

Hope that helps.

I would add this phase 2 study: NCT04868604 classic.clinicaltrials.gov/...

it makes an interesting use of Cu, and (they claim) should work better than PSMA-617 (pluvicto)
