I've been on NUBEQA since December 2022. No side-effects over and above what the Lupron gives me that I've noticed.

I did have some rashes while on chemo & NUBEQA, and the doctor suspected it was the NUBEQA, but the rashes stopped after chemo, so I suspect it was the chemo, or the combination.

I saw a presentation comparing various drugs and NUBEQA had the least side effects. If I recall correctly it was touted as the most tolerable of the recent AR-inhibitors.

Common side effects are fatigue, muscle pain, and rash.

All possible side effects on this website (scroll down a bit): nubeqa-us.com/what-is-nubeq...

But again, I've noticed nothing over and above what I was already getting from Lupron.

I am most grateful for your sharing of your experience. It doesnt sound too too bad though the fatigue is difficult. As it has the least side effects I see this as a positive. All best wishes to you and thank you again.

No SEs for me either after a year that I can attribute to the Nubeqa. I’m not taking anything else though; if you also take a 1st line ADT like Lupron concurrently seems likely you would experience all of those associated SEs

That is interesting you would be taking Nubeqa with no Lupron. Is this standard practise and is it working for you? Thank you so much for sharing.

Not SOC . . yet. My MO team and some on this forum think monotherapy might become SOC after more research and trials. Working great for me so far with same results as other ADT drugs I’ve used on intermittent therapy (lupron, degerelix, and abiraterone). Lots of SEs on those others but none on Nubeqa. PSA remains undetectable at <.01 for a year now, and private insurance is covering full cost. I believe the metastasis spots on last PSMA Pet/Ct have gone into dormancy, as they have before on ADT. No clue how long this will last but taking full advantage of this time for QOL while I still feel great.

I’ve been on it for 7 months now. Moderate thigh pain. Other than that, no SE’s noted.

Nothing for me. Almost 9 months on it and it's like taking candy.

I've been on Nubeqa and Lupron (every 3 months) for almost a year. Thankfully, my side effects have been minimal, so far, and I can't really attribute them to one or the other since I started them simultaneously.

On it now 27 months and only SE are same as Lupron. Energy worse but compensate with gym.

I’ve been on Nubeqa + Lupron for about one year (and during that time had six treatments of Docetaxel and Carboplatin, and now am in the middle of six treatments of Pluvicto)…only possible side effect has been some pain in thighs and hip. Not sure if this pain is due to tightness of muscles and aging, or an actual side effect. In any case, it’s pretty manageable and I have kept my exercise routine going strong. I know additional stretching will help and I’ve resolved to do that!
