thank you everyone who responded to my post a few days back. Went to specialists yesterday afternoon. After a complete examination and x-rays, he assured me that my Dead jaw syndrome had not returned. The discomfort has eased up quite a bit, and he attributed to eating the crunchy cheese doodles on my gums because I’m missing quite a few teeth. What a relief, no more cheese, doodles or hard chewing on my back gums. He also suggested that I see a periodontist to ensure healthy gums under my bridgework. The best part is my discomfort has nothing to do with my cancer treatment. Thanks again for everyone’s input so let’s all keep fighting on.🙏👍🇺🇸👌🏌️♂️🎼

I had ONJ 3 years ago. Since then I see the periodontist yearly and his hygenist every 6 months. My gum health and my teeth health have improved 1000%. Dentist appeared more interested in repair work and paying off his farm. Not gum health.
I've had a bit of odd stuff going on in my mouth and your post reminded me to get a dentist appt with xrays which I never do. I get enough with everything else going on!
