Weaning off of Zytiga and prednisone

How to wean off of Zytiga? I've been on one capsule (250mg) every other day with 5mg Prednisone everyday. How to wean off these drugs together?

I don't understand - is he stopping abiraterone? Is he reducing prednisone from 10 mg to 5 mg/day, or is he weaning off from 5 mg to none?

he’s staying on 500 mg of abiraterone, just reducing prednisone from 10 mg a day to 5, Sorry I wasn’t clear thank you

He doesn't have to wean from 10 mg to 5 mg, because even 5 mg is adequate to replace his cortisol.

I personally would get a script for 100 X 1 mg tablets

When I did a trial study at Dana Farber. They stopped Zytiga and prednisone cold. No issues with me.
